It is with this sense of purpose that Kanchannagar St. Merry Welfare Society (KSMWS) opened its doors to its first batch of students on 26th January 2016 at St. Merry Mahavidyalaya , Kanchannagar, Burdwan. Providing a safe and vibrant space for the youth to explore, expand and develop, the mahavidyalaya aims to instill in its students a desire to develop lifelong learning habits. Reflecting the mahavidyalaya’s motto ‘Tamso Ma Jyotirgamaya’, we provide our students with various facilities and opportunities so that they can develop their skills and maximize their potential on their journey from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge.
